Assignments:
7th and 8th grade
1. Bring completed contracts to school by Friday, August 14.
2. Bring instruments to school for tuning (cellos and basses) and playing (violins and violas).
3. Practice cards start on Monday, August 17.
6th grade
1. Bring completed contracts to school by Friday, August 14.
2. Rent your instrument from Paiges or other music dealer.
3. Bring instrument to school for tuning and playing.

Hi Mrs Ohly-Davis.
My name is Brad Wigor and I am the director and producer of the movie "The Sandy Bottom Orchestra." Someone told me that you recommend my film to your orchestra students and I just wanted to tell you how glad I am that you do. That film is very close to my heart.
I grew up in Cincinnati, and there weren't too many people in my world of football-playing that understood the arts. I hope your upcoming year of orchestra in Northview goes well. If you or any of your students would like to write back, please feel free to do so at heliosprod@gmail.com.
By the way, the composer for the movie, David Bell, grew up in Monroe, Ohio, just outside of Middletown.
